Overview

The Classroom Observation Scale for Autism in Preschool (COSA-P) is designed to assist local early childhood educators in identifying children with autistic symptoms in classroom settings.

The research team also collaborated with educational psychologists at Caritas Rehabilitation Services to develop teacher training materials aimed at promoting the use of the COSA-P. The objective is to enhance the ability of early childhood educators to identify children with autism, thereby facilitating timely intervention during this critical developmental period.

Participants of this seminar will:
- Gain some knowledge of the use of the Classroom Observation Scale for Autism in Preschool (COSA-P);
- Enhance the ability of early childhood educators to identify children with autism; and
- Promote professional sharing through networking different schools and educational bodies.
